New Location AND time!

Schoolmasters is no longer meeting at LG Dacom, our home from October 2008 until March 2010. Effective immediately (March 25), Schoolmasters' new meeting site is Government Complex Daejeon, building#3, room #1001-1 (영상교육실). And the time is 30 minutes earlier, 7:00, but still Thursdays.

The new location is much more easily accessible by subway and bus.

You have to go through the guard twice to get in--first at the outer gate to get in the complex (just show your ID), and second when you come in the building. You can use the East, West, South or North entrance. The guard will stop you and guide you to an information desk to leave your ID and get a pass (which might be closed after 6, in that case he will take care of it himself.)
And then just follow the orange sign "3동", take elevator to come up to 10th floor.

At Schoolmasters, professional development and personal growth are the same thing.

Toastmasters is an international organisation started in 1924. Members of a Toastmasters club will improve both their public speaking and their leadership skills. Schoolmasters is a club specifically for teachers, because a teacher is a special kind of speaker and leader and therefore has special needs.

We welcome all kinds of teachers, elementary, middle and high school teachers, university professors, Sunday school teachers, private and hagwon teachers, education students, etc. We are both Korean and non-Korean, all working together to help each other become both a better teacher and a better person.
